Production\u00a0<\/strong>invites proposals for thematic sections on topics relevant to Operations, Manufacturing, Industrial, and Production Engineering and Management. The aim is to foster in-depth, interdisciplinary discussions of contemporary challenges that affect both academia and practice.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Benefits\u00a0to\u00a0guest\u00a0editors:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Visibility\u00a0|\u00a0\u00a0\"\"\u00a0Impact\u00a0|\u00a0\u00a0\"\"\u00a0Contribution\u00a0to\u00a0the\u00a0field\u00a0|\u00a0\"\"\u00a0Editorial\u00a0experience\u00a0|\u00a0\u00a0\"\"\u00a0Exposure<\/p>\n

Proposals for Thematic Sections should include the following items:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Provisional Title<\/strong>: A clear indication of the theme of the Thematic Section.Objectives and Rationale<\/strong>: Explanation of the relevance of the theme to Production Engineering and the academic community.Topics of Interest<\/strong>: A list of topics to be covered in the Thematic Section. These topics should align with the journal\u2019s scope.Guest Editorial Team<\/strong>: Names, affiliations, and short bios of the guest editors. At least one editor should have significant academic experience and relevant publications on the proposed theme.Outreach Strategy<\/strong>: Description of how the guest editors plan to promote the Call for Papers to attract high-quality submissions.Timeline:\u00a0<\/strong>proposed dates for opening and closing submissions, review time, and publication.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/figure>\n

Proposals will be evaluated by the Editor-in-Chief based on the following criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Relevance and timeliness of the proposed topic. Potential for academic and practical impact. Diversity, qualification, and internationalization of the guest editorial team. Feasibility of the proposed timeline.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/figure>\n
